The Doctor: They were behind the Battle of Canary Wharf. [gets blank stare from Donna] Cyberman invasion. [more blank stares] Skies of London full of Daleks?
Donna: I was in Spain.
The Doctor: They had Cybermen in Spain.
Donna: Scuba-diving.
The Doctor: The big picture, Donna. You keep on missing it.

The Doctor: Guess what I’ve got, Donna? [holds up the roboform remote control] Pockets!
Donna: How did that fit in there?
The Doctor: They’re bigger on the inside.

The Doctor: Well, the thing IS, Detective Inspector Bishop—
D.I.Bishop: How do you know my name?
The Doctor: It’s written inside your collar.
(Bishop looks slightly embarrassed and adjusts his collar.)
The Doctor: Bless your mum. But - I can’t help thinking, Detective Inspector, you’re not exactly doing much detective inspecting. Are you?

The Doctor: Know what’s interesting about my screwdriver? Very hard to interfere with, practically nothing’s strong enough… Well, some hairdryers, but I’m working on that.

Is it just me or did the universe curse the shit out of the time lords? More likely, they just had a heck of a drama teacher in Gallifrey. Most likely, I need to stop re-watching the show.
